Bond Arms
Just got back from the fun store. Found another just gotta have it. It is a bond arms 45lc/410. Put money down on it.
Who has one?
What do you think of them?
Do you carry it?
The trigger pull is not that great. Can it be lightened?troll Free. It's all in your mind.

Re: Bond Arms
my wife bought me a used snake slayer last summer. got a great deal on it. I carry it all the time. I prefer it over my 380 semi. simply cause the holster is not as bulky.

Re: Bond Arms
I have the Snake Slayer. It is my daily carry piece. I had my trigger done by a very talented man, less than 4lbs currently. I carry with the BAD holster they sell on their website with the 2 spare pair ammo carrier. Their leather is top notch as I have 4 of their holsters. I'm fond of the Winchester 5 pellet ammo, Hornady Leverlution and Winchester Silver tips. I don't care for the federal buckshot but their #4's kick ass.
You'll like it, I reccomend buying the .22 barrels for it and learn how to shoot it.
Quick math lesson: .22 barrel $138.00 500 rounds .22 ammo $21.00
1 box .45 long colt locally 39.00 5 boxes $200.
I enjoy shooting the .22 as much as the .45 however not as much as .410.
Have fun,
BradAnd if you want to race, name the place and I'll show you where it's at mother f@#$&#!

Re: Bond Arms
I bought a Snake Slayer 4 or 5 years ago. Looked at it at the fun store, and on the way back to the office I called the factory.
A gentleman named Charlie answered every one of my questions. About 1 mile from the office I turned around and went back to the fun store. I bought the Snake Slayer along with a .357 Maximum barrel and a .40 S&W barrel. Yeah, I was late for work. On the other hand I'm the boss so nobody said anything.
As Brad said their holsters are great. I have 3, although my favorite is the BAD.
I also agree on the buckshot issue. Have shot more 410 shells through it than anything else!~ Luke... Come to the dark side... We have cookies! ~

Here is a link to their website.

I have not heard anything bad about them. I was already thinking about getting the 22 barrel. And maybe the extended grips. I can only get one good finger on the existing grip.

Re: Bond Arms
I had a Texas Defender 45 LC / 410. Thought it would be a fun toy but soon found out it was just a novelty. When the hammer is cocked it's VERY hard to hold on to, with the hammer down it fits well.
The spread of the 410 is also just plain stupid. Literally the shot fans out the second it leaves the barrel and if you are more than 5 feet away from what you are aiming at you aren't going to hit it and even if you are that close you are still only going to get some shot to the target.
I shot mine 5 or 10 times and then sold it .... again more of a novelty item
