Re: Carry at Perkins?
Been to the Perkins in York on several occasions, always OC, never an issue.
If you were to leave the house in the morning, open carry, and go about your business all day long, you would likely be surprised by the experience. I just don't have any trouble.
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

More specifically......let us know how your first OC goes. Looks like the venue is open to it. We all know how those first few times can be a little nerve-racking. Your in a better position than I was, you have people up that way who have carried all over your area and can advise that it's a friendly place to OC. I didn't have as much around here and had no idea how it would go over. As it turned out I've never had a word said to me. Being in the homeland of the minivan driving, soccer-mom, "guns are bad" crowd I've been quite surprised. Best of luck to you. Eh, forget the luck, go with knowledge and belief.
When the SHTF......be the fan.

Re: Carry at Perkins?
Well, I don't think anyone even noticed. I had my coat covering my Sig until I was ready to sit down, then it was pretty much out if plain view. I did run into my dad's cousin there who is a MD state trooper, but I don't think he even noticed. My daughter was sitting on my strong side. After that I was CC with my coat on. Totally uneventful. I was hoping to have the chance to hand out at least one flier. Maybe once the weather warms up and I don't have my coat on.
I carry a gun cause a cop is too heavy. Hippie and 3%er.
