    Default AK "Night Sights" ??

I searched "AK Night Sights" on here...and then used Google and found companies like Ameriglo, Meprolight, Trijicon and Kensight and there are probably others. They all appear to be very similar in their basic designs. Question is - Which one is brightest and lasts longest? Do they flake off? How does the front sight handle heat? And you can imagine all the other possible questions. Anyone have experience with these companies' products and/or on the AK specifically? Thanks!

I have Trijicon's on my Pistol, never had a problem with them. However I am planning to upgrade them to XS Big Dots. You can check out their offerings for pistols and rifles of all sorts at http://xssights.com/index.html

Their "White stripe rear express sight" that comes with their "Big dot front" is exactly how I have my sights painted now! Very cool. Thanks for another option.

I know it's an AK! And 24 hour/12 hour radioactive paint isn't exactly what I was looking for. Kinda after a slightly more longer lasting radioactive thing. Might be good to have around, but? ??

No, all the ones you listed use tritium vials sealed into the sights which create the luminescence. It is not glow paint...

I have never seen any of these side by side to compare them. Optics planet has some of the best prices you can find on these.
