Question Need help with a mounting option...

I've got a 3-9X40 mounted on a Bushmaster O.R.C. using the 1/2" risers that were included. I'm looking for a better mounting option that would give me the correct position and eye relief. So far, the best option I have found is LaRue Tactical's LT-104 but, I just can't afford that right now.

    Can anyone offer any suggestions?

    Thanks for the help,
    Jim

I have one for my M&P15. It's well made, but won't break the bank.

QR high quality La Rue is definately one of the better ones.

Personal QR choice is GG&G Accucam #1383 because it's stronger, less flex joints, assembles easier, has better caming....plus it's 'see thru'. So if your wanting to shoot open sight no need to take it off. Price about the same.

"Permanent" models are about $50 less by both makers. Again, GG&G is a 'see thru' so if wanting to shoot open sights you can save $50.

Iron Butt's Wilson suggestion definately a very good strong mount and like he said, "...won't break the bank". It's also a 'see thru'.

Burris Tactical AR-P.E.P.R. www. burris.com/arpepr.hmtl is another very strong 'see thru' that 'won't break the bank".
Has an additional feature of adding a Picatinny Ring Cap if you want to mount a laser, flashlight, heads up hologram sights (Fast Fire).

The Burris PEPR is a lot less expensive compared to Larue, BUT it's heavy. Buy once, cry once.
