Nice! I've been looking at a similar one for a while now. Congratulations!

Very good choice I have the exact same model. No failures of any type in 1000 rounds so far. I traded my Clinton ban Bushmaster in on mine. I like the M&P much better.

Re: this is my rifle, there are many like it but...
There are a couple of reasons why I like the M&P better. My Bushmaster had a longer barrel, fixed stock and no flash suppressor, so no option to put a supressor on down the road. I know I could have bought another upper and changed the stock but it was about the same price to just trade towards the M&P. Other than that there was nothing wrong with my Bushmaster. I also am a S&W nut and they were not being made when I got the Bushmaster. My dealings with S&W service Dept have been second to none (not that I had many problems).

Hey Kevin, how you doing? yeah i [I]tried[I] to zero it in but it was so cold so I didn't stay as long as i would have liked. I still wasn't in the bullseye by the time I left though, so I'm not sure if I'm doing it right. I just kept it at 6/3 and tinkered with the front sight a little and the windage. I'm pretty much low and to the left. I'm looking forward to the weather breaking so I can log some serious range time. I had my dad with me and his girlfriend and they both got to shoot it too. He keeps telling people his son has a "m16" and calling me dirty harry, lol. I just try and educate him. We all had a fun time. His gun experience is only with hunting rifles/shotguns. I wish I had a pic of his face when I showed him the AR, classic. They both shot my glocks too down on the pistol range, good times!
Maybe we can meet up there again sometime and zero that bad boy.
