    you know i didn't really give it a thought until you posted that. yes they are. trigger, decocker, grip screws, hammer, take down lever, as well as the pin for the trigger and take down lever are all nickel.

    i completely forgot that blued version comes with all black hardware. i'm new to sig's but the date stamp is AE which would mean it was made in 2004. any one know if thats how they came back then?

    I've never seen one like that, but that doesn't mean it's not "factory".

    Sig has gotten a little crazy with all of their special runs in the last few years.
    Ever since Ron Cohen has taken over (in 2004), he has really concentrated on blinging Sig up, rather than keeping with the high quality standards.

    It's possible the previous owner of your P232 changed the controls. It's not hard to do and all of the parts are readily available from Top Gun Supply, or
    he might have had them refinished.

    Either way, I really like the look of it.
