    That doesn't always work.. When I tried to give to the Eddie Eagle program that the NRA has as a safety program for kids. I was told I couldn't do it, even though it was listed in the United Way pamphlet... See my earlier post in this thread to see what happened..

    All I can say if you want to donate money, give it directly to your charity of choice and keep the middle scum(United Way) out of it. This way your charity gets more. The United Way people are nothing but scum sucking thieves.. Go ahead and ask them how much their CEO makes... They care nothing for charity, they are in it for the money...

    To improve participation my large corporation opened up many avenues to donate through UW. This year, my money goes to the Wounded Warrior Foundation. After reading this thread, I might have to think a bit harder before signing the card next year.
