Re: Pennsylvania Has Twelve New Sheriffs
I believe that Sheriff Steelman (Wayne) was a deputy under Sheriff Morelli before he passed away last year. He was appointed as the Acting Sheriff prior to the election.
I haven't met him personally yet but, my LTCF is due for renewal in a few months. I guess I'll get to feel him out a bit then. I do recall seeing news articles in our local paper of him conducting the Eddie Eagle program at some of our local grade schools.Sed ego sum homo indomitus

Re: Pennsylvania Has Twelve New Sheriffs
it seems the Wayne County dept is up on open carry, and other stuff. the last few times i went to the courthouse, and the Dimmick Building, they had no issue checking my gun, and the deputy for the main courthouse never even asked for my LTCF, like others have done.

I really liked Westmoreland Co.'s Chris Schearer - bummed to see him move on... even if it is for Judge.

Interesting that there are no woman on that list. 12 of 12 in 2010?
Now watch these new Sheriffs and see how fast they become Judges at the County courts. Of the last 6 in Delaware County, PA, all of them have moved on to Judge of the County.NRA Training Counselor, Chief Range Safety Officer, NRA Benefactor Member
