My Dad bought 20 boxes of the Herter's .380 from Cabela's last week and has run at least 200 rounds of it through his LCP......

Only problem he has had, was that they are Berdan primed and not reloadable as is.

Well by posting it up here, people will think twice before buying cheap ammo there again.

Thanks, I almost bought some of that or the buffalo +P.

I decided to purchase locally with a better manufacturer - lucked out.

I don't even know if the SIG P238 will take +P - paper work says nothing about it.

What ammo do you recommend then?

From Ruger---I have one and love it.

The RUGER® LCPTM pistols are compatible with standard factory ammunition
loaded to U.S. Industry Standards, including hollow-point loads loaded in brass
or aluminum cases. No .380 Auto ammunition manufactured in accordance with
NATO, U.S., SAAMI, or CIP standards is known to be beyond the design limits or
known not to function in these pistols. Do not use “+P” ammunition.

    You might want to reconsider.
