Firearm purchases per month?

Looking at some of the new bills proposed to limit handgun sales to 1 per month, I wanted to just do an informal Q&A to see how many people would have been effected by this law in the last year? Have you purchased more than 1 firearm in a month? If so, how often in the last year? Not looking for debate on the bill, (can do that in the other forum) just curious being a newcomer to shooting and poor to boot, I can't imagine being able to afford 1 a month, let alone more than 1 a month.

I may go several months without buying something but then I may see several items come up for sale that I will get. If someone wants to purchase several firearms in a month (or for that matter in a week), and they are allowed to by law (not barred from owning firearms) then I don't see any problem. It's their money.

Remember it's your money, as far as I know you are allowed to spend it any way you would like to. You have only yourself to answer to (well maybe your wife if married ).

While I agree on the law I was just curious how many people really buy more than 1 a month. There is a thread going over in the PA law section about the legislation to attempt to enact that limit. Send email/letters/calls to your represenatives if you want them to vote against it.

I have never bought more than 2 handguns in a month or 4 guns total. There are guys on this forum who buy a half dozen guns a month every month. God bless'em!

not in the last year, but a few years back i bought 3 stripped AR lowers at once.

Normally I can't afford it, but sometimes you find a deal you can't pass up. In doing the Allentown Expo show I bought 2 in 2 days.
