I also have the mini and multi versions, I use them at home to sto handguns around the house.
If I had it to do over I would only have the micro vault. I bought the others prior to the GunVault selling the micro.
Also, I had one of the lesser expensive steel boxes stolen from my car. When the police caught up to the thief, they found my box (beaten open with a hammer) in the stain's house. The guns are in the wind...
The Micro Vault comes with a cable which makes "smash and grab" takes a little more difficult. Of course, a bolt cutters could defeat the cable...

What happens when the batteries are dead? Winter cold is tough on batteries! Is there another way to get in?
I like the look of it, I just want to know if it has another way to get in?

In addition to the manual key entry, you may want to look into using Lithium primary batteries such as Energizer e˛ Lithium AAs. Lithium primary batteries take the cold much, much better than their alkaline and zinc chloride (“Heavy Duty”) counterparts.

Get a good key lock cash safe, bolt to floor in out of sight place. Mine bolted under back seat. Many cash boxes are same quality steel box, as gun box, but less expensive.
