A few years ago, my buddy applied for his LTCF in Philly and got two letters letting him know he was approved. One saying he's approved, come get it and the second saying he couldn't have it until his parking tickets were paid up, however, he didn't have any parking tickets. His father, same name as my buddy, had 3 outstanding tickets. He tried explaining that the tickets weren't his, but they wouldn't budge. He ended up just paying the tickets because he was tired of dealing with them and wanted the permit.

I hope he passed the bill on to his father.

Heck, I'm glad this resurfaced. I didn't know that Rite Aid did passport photos. Save me a long trip to AAA to get some.

I'm so glad I live where you walk in and 15 minutes later you walk out with your LTCF. I feel for you Phila guys and gals.

Feel for us Michigan guys and gals too. Not only do we have to wait longer, but the first time, you have to have training first, and the cost is 105.00 for 5 years!!! And that doesn't include the cost of training, usually another $75.00 to $150.00 or more, depending on where you go for the training course.

You PA people are Sooooo lucky.
