Default CC in your PJ's? How?

Here's a question...how would you carry concealed if you had to get up in the middle of the night and were wearing lets say loose fitting pajama bottoms, sweats or shorts? In other words, the clothes you may have been sleeping in or thrown on fast after waking up.

Is there a particular holster setup that you would you use?
Is there an ideal pistol/revolver for this scenario?

The premise here is that your philosophy is not to so much as clear the house with guns a blasin as much as it is to investigate the situation and happen to have a firearm available if needed.

If you were investigating a noise or a "bump in the night", why would you want to carry concealed??

The need to conceal while wearing pajamas does not exist. A gun in the hand is faster then one in a holster. The idea of concealing has nothing to do with investigating a noise or problem at home. Especially considering a very strong belt is a necessity for about 90% of the most widely used methods of CC'ing for a Man.

Keep it simple. If you decide to check out a sound, hold your weapon in your hand, keep your finger off of the trigger and point it at the floor. Eureka, problem solved.

If you are really trying to find a way to CC while wearing pajamas in public like lots of the people on www.peopleofwalmart.com that would be an entirely different thread.

strange inquiry.. so if I understand correctly, you're scenario is that you are sleeping in your home, and are startled out of sleep by something in the house? I honestly can't imagine taking the time to worry about concealing or dealing with a rig whatsoever..

Please provide more detail about the "situation" you are talking about investigating? And when do you sleep? If you were talking about a knock on the door at 11:00am while you are sleeping after a 3rd shift job or something, then that would affect how I am considering your post.. but you said middle of the night....

If you are in your dwelling, why do you need a holster, much less concealed?

If you are going outside, keep a holster on a nylon fastex-type buckle belt.
OC or toss a shirt/jacket on to cover.

OTOH are you sure you should be going outside?

Secure your family in your pre-designated 'safe room' and call the police. If your safe room is breached before the police have cleared the house, defend yourself as necessary.

How about wearing a Bullet Bib while you sleep!

When things go “bump” in the night and you wonder if someone has broken into your home? What do
you do..... How do you carry your Protective Gear (handgun, flashlight, spare magazines, medical kit,
cell phone, etc) while investigating/facing a threat???........Is there a chance you may get shot?.........
    Should you have Bullet PROTECTION?????
