You don't even need to use search. Most of the time the duplicates are all first page, you just need to scan it. We're talking about a section of the site that is by definition "current events", no one is (or should be) posting news from last week.

I've noticed that the Lounge is far too often getting FIREARMS related NEWS posted in it. Lounge is supposed to be for NON-firearms topics. I myself never typically click on the Lounge and only go there by accident if a search result comes up wth a link to it.

I just posted a NEWS story on the shooting in Calumet PA, that got merged with a prior post, but it was in the Lounge. I did a search and checked in News and no one had posted about it.

I didn't think to check the non-firearms related Lounge sub-forum.
