It's come down to 2! SA1911 Operator Loaded MC or The SIG P226R Blackwater Tactical?
Well i have wrecked my brain for some time now and I have narrowed my pistol for the beginning of this year down to two excellent choices. THE SPRINGFIELD ARMORY 1911 OPERATOR LOADED FULLSIZE MC vs. THE SIG P226R BLACKWATER TACTICAL. Wheww man I'm beat! Now fellas neither of these pistols are the type of pistol you would just say, awe i'll pick it up later or even at the same time because, these excellent pistols cost a pretty penny! "NOT CHEAP AT ALL FOLKS" they range anywhere from $1000 to $1500 easily. I want a 9mm and a 45ACP But, these two really bump heads because they're just awesome!
I just want some thoughts and Opinions from you guy's on this one because, this one is a headache1/2!
I know i wouldnt be dissapointed with either one but maybe some of you guys have info or personal experience on and with these pistols and can help me decide whats the best route?Protect yourself at all times.... purchase a firearm. It's your right!

I would opt for the Sig personally.
How many 1911's or 9mm do you currently own of each caliber?
And send XD45 a message. He had one:

Having a blackwater tactical, and a badass SA 1911 I say go w/ the 1911.
personally i'd spend the extra couple bucks and get a TRP though.

Man i wish i could have both of them like you have. I'm sitting here drooling on myself. Did you do that on purpose? Putting that picture up like that is just heart breaking Eventually i will have both of them.

I don't own a 9mm but, i have a Taurus Millenium Pro in the 45ACP which i'm not satisfied with at all. So there's plenty room for improvements in my collection. Ohh i forgot about my M&P 40cal. Sweet!!

i was planning on buying a SIG 226 in the next few weeks but have changed my mind based on a lot of negative information i've read regarding the lack of SIG QC. i currently own a SIG p220, 229, and 245 and i'm 100% satisfied with each of them but if QC has dropped off then i don't want to cough up 800+ dollars for something i might have issues with. i also own 3 SA 1911 pistols plus a XD in 357 sig and each has been flawless and i haven't read anything negative regarding SA 1911's or XD's so my recommendation to you would be by the SA 1911.
