personally I'm a huge fan of the unlimited ammo weapons from the Rambo series, the unlimited ammo, zero recoil weapon he pulled from the Huey in Rambo 2 was amazing. It looked like an M60 but fired explosive incendiary rounds with amazing accuracy and blew up whatever it hit. just an awesome weapon!

vote for the BFG as well, AWESOME weapon and a true classic!
The first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.

Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

No love for Alucard's 454 casull semi auto from Hellsing?

I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

I always like the "88 magnum, it shoots through schools."
While many claim to support the right, precious few support the practice.

I saw this list earlier today linked from somewhere else and thought about reposting it here, but you already beat me to it. It's a pretty good list, but only covers movies and tv shows, and doesn't go into any weapons from video games, books, or comics (excluding those which were also in movies/tv).

I few months ago I was at a local gun store and commented that some of the guns looked like something out of the Fifth Element, and the employee there picked up the gun and repeated Zorg's speech about the ZF-1 from the movie. I was so impressed that the store has earned my future business.

And I agree with everyone who commented about the gravity gun and portal gun, though I'd also like to recommend the rocket propelled chainsaw:
