Glock price hunting
Looking for a new (not used) pistol. Preferably a 19 in OD.
So far the best I could find was from Glock World.
$459.00 + $20.00 to ship.
In stock
Model #: 1950201
Anyone ever buy anything from them? Or know of a better price / place?
Anything else I need to know?

Re: Glock price hunting
I sell them in my shop for $499.00. Look local! A dealer is also going to charge you a transfer fee. Add it all up.

Re: Glock price hunting
It's not the first gun I've bought online/had shipped in but...
I'll add it up for you.
$459 +$20 ship + $25ish transfer = $506ish.
$499 + tax + pics = $535ish.
That by itself isn't a big deal really. But the few places I went to peruse did not have what I wanted in stock.
But if you sell them for $499 in the store then $459 isn't that great of an online price considering you have to have it shipped in / transfer. Even if it is still cheaper than buying it from you directly, I guess I'll keep looking. But I haven't seen anything less yet, just anywhere from $50 to $150 more for the EXACT same thing.

Re: Glock price hunting
Buy local, and support your local economy.
As for the Glock, since they are prolific and in demand any price difference you will see will be in the single digits, and that is before transfer fees. Pick a local shop and order what you want, I am sure they can get it for you. Glocks are easy to find, it is not like they are made entirely out of steelJoin the groups protecting your rights from the fools trying to take them from you!

Re: Glock price hunting
Not a huge huge fan of any of my immediately local gun shops. Not a subject I wanted to get into either.
So can we just keep this to a $ figure / places with the best prices like I asked in the original post. And keep the posts regarding where I should buy something based on other criteria out of it?
Thank you.

Re: Glock price hunting
I picked up a new G26 at Cabela's when they had their coupon sale for Cablela's Club Visa members which they do three or four times a year. The
G26 was $509, I got $100 off with the coupon, and I also had $11 in Cabela's points on my Visa. Final price was $389.
