Is that only if you purchase it from the same FFL?

Could you buy 3 handguns from 3 FFLs in one day without the extra paperwork?

    (just curious)

The gentleman behind the counter at Geisers stated "you are only allowed one handgun purchase a week" vs "it's against the law". Is he just completely misinformed, or is it Geisers policy so they don't have to submit the additional form.

You could go buy 100 guns from 100 FFL's in 6 hours time if you wanted without causing any of them to have to fill out that multi-purchase form.

Even if you multi-purchase at the same FFL in 5 days time - you don't have any extra paperwork, the FFL does. ...which its only a very minor form not even an 8.5"x11". Closer to the size of a post card.

The FFL is only for dealers....not private sales!
Please keep in mind that Private Sales are not ILLEGAL!

    If you look at http://www.saf.org/LawReviews/Zimring68.htm

The FFL is ONLY for distributors that hold more than 25 guns for retail sale!

You will find that the government can not implement a private gun owner to get an FFL or hold a Federal list of gun owners and the type of firearms they purchase. Also licensed Firearm dealers can hold this information and are only allowed to give this information when a warrant is given.

The government is trying to put together a list of gun owners and their firearms, WITHOUT WARRANT!

Please understand that everything that is happening in Austin, is happening everywhere. It's just not yet reported on. Please fight the right of our Constitution...so that our future children are not in a dictatorship.

If you look at the Texas gun show, and the implementation of banning private gun sales. This is all about registering as a private citizen to sell a firearm. (The FFL)....private sales are not ILLEGAL.

That's the point i was getting at...and i just put in more info about the FFL.

So to make it clear....you can purchase as many guns as you want, with out registering which guns you have....from private sales.
