Re: Hello from Mechanicsburg
Just wanted to chime in and say hi, I'm a newbie too. I live in Shiremanstown.
GL w/ your CCL, it took me about 3 weeks to receive the notification postcard from the Sheriffs office. Stop by a little surplus shop right near the courthouse when you go to pick up, the owner is a really cool guy and they have some interesting products, its called Patriot Surplus, right up the street (which one I can't remember, sorry) from the courthouse. I picked up my CCL and ordered 2 holsters from him about 2 months ago. Good Luck.

if youre in Shiremanstown then you should check out Shiremanstown Sporting Goods. if youre into reloading and hunting then they have just about anything you need. they dont have many(if any) handguns but he can order them. i go there all the time for my reloading supplies

Re: Hello from Mechanicsburg
I lived in MBurg last year. Gramhill on 114. Then they stopped letting me park my big truck there. Live with the in laws in Dillsburg now. Much cheaper rent too. I would be in for a eat and shoot too

Re: Hello from Mechanicsburg
Bullfrog Ken is a member here and he is the president at West Shore Sportsmen, look him up, I'm sure he'd be glad to give you info about them. I took my hunters saftey course at Carlisle years ago, shoot 3-D there on occasion, but other than that, I don't know much about Carlisle

Re: Hello from Mechanicsburg
I'm a member of Mechanicsburg Sportsman's, up the hill from Visaggio's. They have 25, 50, and 100 yard outdoor ranges, and indoor rimfire and centerfire pistol ranges. It costs $50/yr to join, plus a little bit more to get a key for the indoor centerfire range. I've never used the indoor rimfire.
There's only been one or two times I've ever gone to the indoor centerfire and found anybody else using it - most times it's just me.
No experience with the other clubs, as MSPA is most convenient to where I live.Clinging to guns and God in PA...
