    Default Oil & Grease

    Oil & Grease on guns:

I was using some Weapon Shield on a small desk fan (my 9 y/o son is a collector ) and I got to wondering what the weight of it was (normally I use a 20w 3in1) so I went to their site and while I didn't see a weight I saw Weapon Shield grease.

So I got to wondering where grease would be used instead or along side oil and figured y'all would know.

This is for guns and not fans BTW

    Grease is the word
It's got groove it's got meaning
Grease is the time, is the place, is the motion
Grease is the way we are feeling

I think it might be a European thing. My Sig manual talks about using it on the slide rails.

I don't typically use any grease or oil on my guns, i was taught to wipe a very slight amount on the firing pin but other than that I wipe all finger prints off with a silicone cloth. You probably know who my teacher was.

Yup, and I took a running doe at 30 yds. a couple years ago.
And that is correct I use no lubricants other than on the firing pin. I can't speak for semi autos but on my guns this has worked well.

OHHHHH.... I had a .41 Blackhawk long ago... That's a whole lot of stuff in a small package. Wish I still had it.
