So the other night in walmart I bumped into an old friend that I haven't talked to in awhile. We got talking about Ephrata borough. It didn't take them long. "Wait, you're the guy who got Ephrata Borough to take down their rule of no guns in their parks....they pretty much caved under you....Why do you or anyone need to have a gun in a park where kids play?! Why? You're going to get yourself shot rather then defend yourself if someone already has their gun out and you go for yours"

I've started to frame my arguments with people in a different way to put them on the defensive. Rather than arguing for my right to have a gun as I had been doing I am starting to come at them from the perspective that I already have the right and I was just doing the borough or city a favor by having them change the law so they could avoid lawsuits.

Just tell them that guns have always been allowed...what's the big deal?
