Need a Civil War long guns expert
Hi,
I'm looking for a reputable expert on long guns of the Civil War.
I have in my possession a Maynard long gun made in 1859 that appears to have been modified (I've done a little research, and apparently this gun began life as a breech action carbine, but was later modded into a 20 gauge shotgun).
I'd love to find an appraisal expert for it somewhere within a reasonable distance from King of Prussia, PA.
Anyone have any suggestions?I carry a gun not to take lives, but to keep mine from being taken.
