    Default Lancaster Police Station

Anyone know if their is anything restricting me from carry into the Lancaster City Police station. I will be going through the main lobby to the treasury office in the back to make a utility payment. I am pretty sure I can legally carry but I figured I would see if anyone on here had any experience in this situation?

    Thanks in advance.

So long as there's not a "this is a detention facility/no firearms allowed" sign, you should be fine.

    Good Question!

I wanted to know if Oc'ing into a Police Station can be done as well. I didn't know if that was like taking honey into a bee's nest or what..

I didin't think they had any special laws...

I don't know about Lancaster but I might be able to help you figure it out with what I know about Lebanon.
The Lebanon city police department is headquartered in the Municipal building, which is also home to the courthouse and whatever they call their temporary detention facility, holding cells or whatever. You can't carry a gun into the building.
North Cornwall Township police headquarters is in the N.C.T. municipal building which houses a few other municipal offices including our local polling site but it doesn't have a court or holding facility. Concealed carry is permitted but I've been told by more than one officer that anyone open carrying in the building would probably be asked to leave.
(I think that's very similar to how Greg got his first taste of how things like this work).

I am pretty sure they can't ask you to leave since it isn't private property.

    That's what Greg thought too.
As it turned out, he was right.

Maybe they can ask you to leave, free speech and all, but I think it was proven that they can't legally force you to leave.
