Default Generation 4 Glocks are out

I didn't think they were coming out until after SHOT show, but apparently they are.

I wrote up a little overview with some exclusive pics, if folks are interested...

Have they changed anything along the lines of grip angle, or circumference?

The reversible mag release seems like a nice feature for the lefties at least.

I found both triggers to be terrible to me so the triggers are on a scale to me.. The Glock was a crisper suck and the XD was a more mushy suck. They are in the same family, SR9 (heavy suck), Glock (crisp heavy suck), XD( lighter mushy suck), M&P(heavy mushy suck).

I'm fairly certain that the curved slide cuts are gone now.. straight cuts like the last gen is back in.

I hear they're ending production of Gen 3 Glocks...

It looks like the Gen 4 tried to do what the XDm accomplished but failed.
Not only does the new grip texture look weak, but they added a new spring system. You probably can't use the old guide rod system anymore right?
They didn't even increase the capacity on anything...

To disarm the people is the best and most effective way to enslave them.

I looked one over yesterday and while I'm sure some people will like it,it doesn't do anything for me.
I was wondering will all the Gen 4 models have the dual recoil spring setup?
And if so what is the advantage/reason for this?

To significantly increase the guide rod and spring life.

They just came out ,I think you are thinking of the RTF2,the Gen 4 has a less aggressive grip and different backstraps.

this is the same style recoil spring that hk has...its supposed to reduce fatigue/ stress on the frame and being polymer guns, if its true, its great!

Hoping everyone loves these so there are a ton of 3rd gen trade-ins. I want a 26 or 27 lightly used.
I don't watch shark week. Sharks watch FLICK week.
