ultimate tactical footwear or silliness?
These are not water shoes...
They are actual shoes to be worn in everyday life.
I can see the advantage of getting ultimate barefoot freedom so that you can maneuver as freely as possible....
but i would feel more comfortable with more protection....

with power to endanger the public liberty. -John Adams

Re: ultimate tactical footwear or silliness?
They scream "marketing" to me. why else would you put the "camo" on the soles?
I sure as hell wouldn't want to "break them in". Way too many places for irritation.I called to check my ZIP CODE!....DY-NO-MITE!!!

Good shoes for stalking.......camo is nice on the soles when you are sitting and calling turkey or other wary game.
Hippies will start wearing them in cities and probably ruin it for me.....

Re: ultimate tactical footwear or silliness?
When the turkeys come in quick on you, the only thing you can do is find a wide tree for up against your back to cover your silhouette. Depending on the terrain, w/ one leg bent under another if you're foot is exposed and the yellow cabelas diamond w/ a black sole on the bottom of your boot is exposed, move your foot, a turkey will pick that right up. Good idea, and vibram soles,......gonna have to give these a try.

They are $90 for the camo. some other styles are a little cheaper. I think $75 was the cheapest I saw.

Re: ultimate tactical footwear or silliness?
it sucks the camo is only available with a neoprene upper. neoprene=sweaty feet.
i might give these a try, if i can find a store that has them so i can try them on first. Sure i'll look like a fool, but i'll relish looking like a fool in my cool shoes.
