What will you be doing to train for next season?
Lets face it... fall is the best time of the year!
What are you planning on doing to improve your chances next year?
I'll be trying to get into shape more, should help with scouting :P
I'll also be attending a lot more 3D shoots this year, I didn't attend any last year.
of course I'll be shooting the bow a ton and I'm hoping to get the rifle to the range a few more times this year. I'll be shooting the pellet gun in the back yard to work on my off hand shooting also.
and scouting is a given :PThe first vehicles normally on the scene of a crime are ambulances and police cruisers. If you are armed you have a chance to decide who gets transported in which vehicle, if you are not armed then that decision is made for you.
Be prepared, because someone else already is and no one knows their intent except them.

Re: What will you be doing to train for next season?
I have my 5th Montana archery elk trip coming this September. I shoot all year long anyway, but this year like others past, will be more often and at greater ranges.
I need to hit the gym and the bike too, like starting this month. I am at my heaviest weight i have ever been, 180lbs.
Even at 30, im gettting older and those mountains seem to be gettin steeper. LOL
Plus now i can look back and see what my dad was telling me about all the moto-cross, snowboarding, BMX racing injuries with the "you'll regret it one day"

I think I'll be looking into mechanicals for next season.
If they don't work for me I may need to consider (gulp) a x-bow.FUCK BIDEN

Nothing hones your skills for deer season like hunting people... or so I've heard.

Re: What will you be doing to train for next season?
I just can’t seem to group well anymore with broadheads, and my hunting is suffering as a result. I’m lucky if I get one opportunity at any deer during the season. And I hunt most days. I’m at a point where I’m not going to drop any more money on different equipment. I’ve been spending a fortune on bow hunting for 20yrs. Between the herd size, and having to compete with inline and x-bow hunters with a concurrent season my enthusiasm has been waning, so has my practice habits. Any way I’m hoping I can find a decent mechanical that will give me groups similar to field tips. If not I may just hang it all up and move onto something different.
A few years ago this wouldn't have made sense to me either but that's where I'm at.FUCK BIDEN

I would take your bow in and get it laser leveled and inspected. More then likely something has stretched in your strings / cables which is throwing off your alignment. shouldn't cost more then a couple bucks

I have my first bow so I'll be sighting it in and getting my gear a little at a time.

Don't need any more training, just need more time in the woods.
