Licensed drivers kill police officers.
Here are some facts about officers killed in the line of duty:
IN 2008 140 Police Officers were killed in the line of duty.
The number of police officers killed by gunfire in 2008 dropped to its lowest level in more than 50 years, says a report out Monday by the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial Fund.
• For the 11th consecutive year, more officers died from traffic-related incidents than any other cause of death.
•Other fatalities included two officers who died in a bombing, two who were stabbed and two who died in a helicopter crash.

Re: " Concealed handgun permit holders dont protect police officers. They kill them.
The biggest reason the VPC goes after concealed carry people is that concealed carry allows the most people the most practical reason to own firearms. They want to exterminate gun ownership in the US and that's how they keep city people from being on our side.
What's most disgusting about this is that we the average gun owner don't fight as hard against the VPC as they do against us. It's ONE man, Josh Sugarmann. ONE. Yet he makes more noise than we do, getting in the public ear? Re: " Concealed handgun permit holders dont protect police officers. They kill them.
I agree , and would happily make and post Youtube videos to dismantle their BS piece by piece, just one small problem. I know exactly JACK SHIT about making such videos, know zip about video production, and finally dont have the proper camera to do so. What I DO have is an entire home office filled with every conceivable document and statistical fact necessary. So the question is, when is someone with the skills to do the video going to take the task on their shoulders and make a personal commitment to not allow this stuff to go unchallenged ? YouTube is THE singular method of reaching tons of people , especially the younger generation, outside the MSM who are our enemies and without the need for 100's of thousands of dollars to buy air time on the networks. The 2A Communities general under utilization of such a fantastic resource and tool for our message is a glaring oversight that we will pay a price for in one way or another.
I've personally taken on the task myself , using the knowledge , and skill I have by writing articles like the one I just posted about Bryan Miller and Heeding God's Call, but such a format gets limited exposure. Im doing everything I can, with what I've got and what I can do. Time for someone else to step up and jump in with Youtube video production.Si vis pacem, para bellum

Re: " Concealed handgun permit holders dont protect police officers. They kill them.
I won't add to the traffic and view the video, but I'll point out that citizens saving police with their private weapons probably happen about as often as police saving citizens.
Police are not there to interrupt robberies and rapes and murders, police exist to bring the chalk and body bags. Police may recover your stolen car, but they won't prevent the carjacking; they may solve a homicide, but they don't prevent the death.
Further, if someone is trying to kill a cop and some random passerby shows up, the perp may flee, partly out of fear that an armed citizen may intervene. That can't be measured, but prisoners routinely admit to more fear of armed citizens than of cops. The cops will probably just arrest them.Attorney Phil Kline, AKA gunlawyer001@gmail.com
