Where did you buy your Gun Safe in Southeast PA?
THIS QUESTION IS MORE FOR GUYS LOCATED IN SOUTHEAST PA!!!
I am on the market for a new gun safe. I am looking into the better lines and I am mainly looking for larger safes made my Browning/Pro-Steel or Remington/Liberty. I am aware that I can order either of them from Targetmaster in Chadds Ford which is very close to me but I am looking ofr another place to compare prices with.
Where did you/your friend buy yours?
Did they include delivery?
Are you hapy with it?
Were you happy with the price?
There is so much good info on here for guns and shops but not much for Gun Storage. Thanks for your help guys.Feddog82 Feedback Page http://forum.pafoa.org/showthread.ph...light=feddog82

French Creek Outfitters had some nice safes last time I was there. I'm sure most gun shops will order one for you.
I got mine at Tractor Supply Company at one of their end of the year sales. No delivery on that though but it was 50% off!

Re: Where did you buy your Gun Safe in Southeast PA?
I got my safe (Browning) from Target World. Price was OK -- just over $1,000. I shopped several other places before buying from TW, including French Creek Outfitters, Classic Pistol, and Tanners. Target World had a very large selection when I was there, but pricewise I don't think they are any less than FCO or any other safe dealer. I did not drive over to Jersey to visit Liberty but probably should have.
Delivery was not included, but TW has an arrangement with Hunsberger's Hauling, who delivered it to my house and set it up where I wanted it. That cost $300 (delivery price varies depending on the weight of the safe). If you have your own truck that will handle the weight, can borrow/rent the right dolly to move it around, and have a couple of strong friends to help you, you undoubtedly can save some bucks on delivery. I thought it was worth the price to have people who know what they're doing set up the safe for me.
I like the safe -- but hope to never have to test the fire rating or resistance to burglars! I'm sure you've already heard to buy as much safe as you can afford -- mine is already getting pretty full.

Re: Where did you buy your Gun Safe in Southeast PA?
I bought mine from Zanotti Armor - mail order. I couldn't find any local dealers with what I was looking for. I needed to put the safe in my basement, this safe is modular. It arrived in 7 pieces that are pinned together. I am very satisfied with the safe, it is well built, serves my needs and the service was great. It's not as 'pretty' as some of the others on the market, but that was not my main concern. The only difficult part was carrying the 300 pound door down the basement steps.
