    a. Form 3 sent: 10/26/2010
    b. Form 3 received: 11/18/2010
    c. CLEO sign off sent: 11/23/2010
    d. CLEO sign off received: 12/1/2010

    4. Form 4 Sent: 12/21/2010
    5. Check cleared: 12/28/2010
    6. Pending Date: 01/19/2011
    7. Approved Date: 05/05/2011
    8. Form 4 Received: 05/09/2011
    9. Examiner Name: Sara Jones

Update: 3/28/11 I called the ATF about the status of my Form 4. Was informed that my application was in "Problem status" since 3/17/11. I am waiting for the form to be returned so I can figure out what went wrong.
Issued turned out to be my fingerprints cards. The first one was rejected by the FBI so the examiner sent the second set to get analyzed. Two weeks later I got my F4.

    1. NFA Item: SBR
    2. Form Type: Form 1
    3. Transferee Type: Individual
    4. Forms Sent: 1/23/2010
    5. Forms Received: 1/26/2010
    6. Check cleared: 2/2/2010
    7. Pending Date: 3/9/2010
    8. Approved Date: 7/20/2010
    9. Forms Received: 7/24/2010
    10. Examiner Name: Sara Jones

Update: 04/26/2010 I called and was told my application was pending as of 3/9/10 and is under review.
Update: 06/07/2010 I called and was told my application is still pending.
Update: 06/17/2010 I got an envelope from the NFA branch today...thought it was a tax stamp, but it wasn't. Apparently the FBI rejected my fingerprint cards and I need to have them re-done. Quite a big let down. Guess I will get my fingerprints re-done and wait some more.
Update: 06/21/2010 I got my fingerprints re-done. A different guy who did them this time did mention that the person who previously did my fingerprints no longer works at that department due to poor work and poor work ethics. He looked at my original prints and commented on how poorly they were done. A lot of artifacts and poorly rolled fingerprints. I mailed it the same day.
Update: 06/23/2010 My new set of prints was received and signed off by Sabrina.
Update: 07/24/2010 I received my first approved NFA tax stamp!

Then nothing happened for 2 months. Upon calling TODAY, they had no record of my application in the system, yet the pigs had no problem taking my money. Additionally, my delivery receipt from USPS and the signature on it matched the date and signature of reception on their end. Mr. Howard is apparently the guy who finds lost applications and seemed quite capable. I am to call him back next week as he thinks the application is in the building, but ended up in the wrong office. Awesome.
