Golden Trigger charged me $16 to adjust rear sights on G19!
The Golden Trigger in Emmaus PA charged me $16 to literally take 20seconds to move the rear sights on my Glock a couple millimeters....Does that sound way too high?
I wouldve thought he would do it for free for me. It literally took 20 seconds. They were just a lil off from the factory.

My minimum shop charge is $20.
So, no. I don't think it's high at all.
That said, had you brought by a G19 for just a rear sight adjust I probably would not have charged you anything Especially if you brought beer with you_________________________________________

The guy owns a business and you decided to take him up on his services. Why wouldn't you be charged?

I don't think that's unfair really. You're using his time/experience and he probably had to stop doing something else. I think the sight tool is about $80 give or take, maybe you might want to look into getting on in the future.

This is why you build up a relationship with a shop, spend money there over time, hang out and be friendly and then little things like this are usually free.

In the future, before you buy the gun, find out if any "basic" services are free.
If you didn't buy this gun from this shop, then shop around next time. Otherwise, you wanted a service and you had to pay for it. Sounds like America to me!Nine out of ten moderators approve of this post!

Dealers should do everything for nothing and smile while they are doing it too.
