    Default Warren's Surplus (Tannersville)

Took a trip up there on Wednesday with a couple of buddies of mine. Great selection, reasonable prices, knowledgeable and friendly staff, overall a wonderful experience.

I've been looking for a new gun shop since Defcon-1 shut down, and since Warren's was the place that bought up all of Defcon's stock, I figured I'd check it out. Glad I did, I'll be returning for all my future firearms purchases. My friend Ed got a Model 70 Winchester (black synthetic stock and a Simmons 3-9x40 scope) while we were there, and I picked up a bunch of .308 stripper clips, a few mag chargers, and a couple of slings. Steve (my other compatriot for the trip) didn't buy anything, but he's planning on plunking a couple grand down on a few pistols on the first of January (his 21st birthday), and he's gonna give the business to Warren's now.

It's a bit of a hike from Allentown (45 minutes to an hour drive, depending on traffic), but it was well worth the trip. I'm sure all three of us will be returning soon enough.

Thanks to everyone who works there, kudos to having a great shop.

Ahahahaa, yes, I do mean Warner's Surplus. Oh boy, I feel like a tool now.

If a mod or admin could kindly change the title to "Warner's Surplus," I'd be much appreciative.

General Geoff you can edit the title thread on your own if you go into the edit function.

Rich - State Route #611, Mr. Z’s Shopping Plaza, Tannersville, PA It's right near the intersection of 219 and 611. When you enter the shopping plazza it's on the left side when looking forward.

I've bought thing's from rich at Shows, on here and I've been to his shop. Nice guys, great prices on some stuff, good prices all around and he builds 1919's (I'm going to go broke I know it)

    Cheers,

    ithinkimamedic,

you can edit the body of the post, but not the title, unfortunately.

I stopped at Warner's Surplus today and I must say very nice and helpful. They answered all my quistions without any attitude. I did not purchase anything today but will be going back to get a set of night sights installed on my Smith 1911. I will also get my next AR from them since it will be slightly cheaper to have them build it than to do it myself. I wonder if I can just cash my paycheck there?
