Default No longer for sale: 5.56X45 ammo, 300 rounds.

My questions have been answered and I've decidid to keep the ammo for my own use.
Thanks to all who responded via post replies and PM.

But I have a few questions:

I would prefer local FTF, but there's a good chance that it won't happen that way, so here are my questions.

1). How to ship it? I presume UPS Ground is the best, or maybe the only way to ship it.

2). Is there an extra charge for hazardous materials or anything similar?

3). What is it worth? Can someone give me a good ballpark figure for a fair asking price?

What I have is 300+ rounds of 5.56X45mm BALL M1A3. A friend of mine sold his AR15 then found this ammo when he was moving, after the deal was complete.
We opened the pack to see if it matches a partial box that he had left over. He was sure that he bought it all at the same time and it would be the same. It does match, so I pulled the bullet from a round out of the partial box.
What I found is 55 grain full metal jacket, brass case, Berdan primed.
The pack was sealed until a few days ago. There are 10 full thirty round boxes (one box opened for comparison) plus 19 loose rounds from the partial box making a total of 319 rounds.
Iwould keep it for myself, but my Ruger Mini-14 and Thompson Contender are .223 and I don't want to risk the higher pressure of the military 5.56X45 load.

4). Does anyone want to make an offer? He'll take the best reasonable offer, but not necessarily the first offer. Buyer pays shipping.

I've told you everything I know about it, click the links below to see the photos and feel free to ask questions.

thats a south African battle pack the 85 on the bottom is the year it was made

your ruger mini 14 will fire it without a problem you can read the mini manual and it says 5.56 is fine

i myself wouldnt pay much since it was made in 1985 but im sure people would pay todays prices for it.

    AH YES!
    RTFM.
    What a novel idea!
I know I have the manual somewhere, but I don't really need to read it now, do I? You just answered a question that I didn't even think to ask.
    Thanks for the info fultonCoShooter.
Now I still need to know what a fair price is for the ammo.
If it's reasonable by my standards I'll pay the man and keep it for myself, if it's too rich for my blood this month I'll offer it for sale.
(I reload, that's why I'm not familiar with new ammo prices. I guess I should get back in touch with that bit of reality, shouldn't I?).

I'd say the lot is worth $64.00.

I'd say the lots worth about $80-85 I'd pay 90 shipped if you decide to go that route.

Shipping is not that hard, and no ridiculous fees.(probably about $6-7)

If you decide to ship it(even if not to me) pm me and i can tell you exactly how to do it.
