Well, I went out and tried to beat my score from yesterday that I threw out, but only managed to match it. 41 points.
Beretta 92FS Brigadier using my 9mm light load - 115 gr JHP over 4.0 gr bullseye

This is my scoped/laser submission. I used a 3.4" barrel Walther P22 with a Walther laser sight mounted to the light rail using blazer round nose ammo. I counted it as a 46. The hole on the left is very close, but it does just barely touch the football.

The Walther is my wife's. I don't shoot with lasers (not that I'm against it, I just don't have any lasers) often and thought it was going to be a piece of cake, but that damn laser was tougher to use than I thought.

You're very right! Lasers are not easy to shoot. At least not for precision shooting at any distance. The laser causes you to watch the red glow dancing on the target or the target itself instead of your front sight. They're OK for defense use where you're shooting minute of torso.

But you did well none the less!

    Yes I do.
But I'm not doing any until the snow melts. Because I can't get to my range... And now with more snow, it might not be till spring!

This is my idea for a next challange. I was going to do it this time, but decided to go with the superbowl theme. If no one else comes up with something, I'll do it in a week or two.
    3 targets (1)each at 5yrd, 10yrd, 15yrd.
    3 shots at each target.
Measure the 3 groups and average them together.
    Smallest group average wins.
(3 targets must be shot as a group. Not shooting a bunch of plates at each distance and picking the best 3)
