looking for a rentention holster
Hey guys my brother in law recently purchased a taurus pt 111 mil pro for concealed carry. And he's looking for a blackhawk retention holster for it but cant find one. Now my question is does anyone know if a certian model blackhawk that would also fit the taurus. I thought i heard someone say that the serpa for the XD would fit. Is that true???

Re: looking for a rentention holster
I use a leather retention with mine, for a glock somthing, not sure if a Serpa wil fit or not, If he takes it unloaded to a gun shop they should let him try one.

Yes, td does have a good point. I have a new PK380 and took it to GM and just started trying all the holsters. All the packages open up easy and seal back just fine without damage. That is the way to go plus you can test how they feel on the WB. -my .02 cents-

Re: looking for a rentention holster
Don Hume makes a holster for it in leather with a thumb break.
Not a Serpa I know..., but less conspicuous than a Serpa for sure (not as bulky).

Re: looking for a rentention holster
Now they do have IWB holsters as well on the Hume website, as well as a retention paddle with Kydex covered by leather/suede...
If he is getting a belt mount holster, make sure he also gets a good gun belt.
1 3/4" width is what seems to be the max size for "dress slacks" such as Dockers, Hagar etc. which is what I have.FNX-9 Two-tone
