went down to submit my application on dec.29,2009...my "references" both recieved questioneers 2 days later!!(pretty fast!!)..both already mailed out as of yesterday.How long should I expect?? Not new to Pa.,just decided to start carrying since this place is going down the tubes!!(bs robberies,cars being stolen,etc..I still love it here but not the crime!!I used to leave my house unlocked NOT NO MORE!!

almost exactly 45 days.....give or take a couple!...good luck!

If you don't hear anything after 30 days, call them or stop by to check. Remember, they don't get paid by how many licenses they issue. They're notorious foot-draggers. Yours might be approved and sitting there after 30 days like mine was. One thing is for sure, it will be the longest 30-45 days of your life.

I was lucky took me around 34 days I believe

I've heard a few people on here say 30-35 days, but mine took almost the whole 45. Be patient, and don't get your hopes up for a 2 or 3 week turnaround.
Like PoconoJo said, it will be the longest 30-45 days of your life! At least if it takes a while you know you've been approved. Usually if it's a denial they'll get back to you pretty quick.

In the meantime, I recommend sticking around on here and learn a bit about the rules and regulations of carrying. Any question you have you'll probably be able to find here, and if not ask and someone will definitely know the answer.

Every one I've seen is about 35 days ... relax, it will show up

Suzuki how long have you been a resident in PA? Did you have any trouble meeting the requirements to submit your application?

Been here 6 years,been coming my whole life...,no requirement trouble.
