Hi! Looks like you did not visit the links in my signature line. with my licence, I can buy them select fire. It is possible for some very few to get this license. When I sale them to individuals, I have to convert them to semi auto. I sold some to collectors once deactivated. The once a MG, always a MG does not exist here. it is possible to legalize an inherited or found MG. We got major conflicts on our territory and some colonial wars..Some people have unlawfully built a MG collection and it's found after their death.

id call that the mag stabilizer, my only thought for "center dimple" would be the selector stop in the middle fa position, which is both legal, and not able to be seen (its not there) on my pics cuz the saftey's down

Certainly appears that way, which hints that it's an older import receiver or a current US-made receiver.

I call that the Magwell dimple.

The thing to notice on Edmond's rifles is the extra pin to the right and below the hammer pin. That's where the autosear goes.

thats what i thought you were talking about, that dimple would be down alot further on the receiver than that.

anyone who has finished an ak will know what that mark is. no matter what you use, sooner or later the detent on the saftey is going to gouge an arc across the receiver. that is the top of that arc. it happened quickly on this one, cuz the duracoat wasnt fully cured when i put it together, i was rushing to complete it for a build contest on another forum site.

and, as i said, it seems to be a popular thing latley to put the extra detent and all the origional cyrillic markings on the receivers latley. it does not make it fa, and is completley legal (but no, mine dosent have it). similar to alot of the fal and g3 and cetme rifles around that used the origional trigger housing, they still have all the marks and detents, but the lever is usually blocked from rotating that far, adn it wont function in fa if it did.
