Is that a Vepr? You would have had to mod it to accept that mag too, correct?

Yes. Csspecs makes magazines for them. I did mod Vepr 308 magazines to fit my Zastava M77. Its nice to have different guns swap mags. Csspecs later started producing mags for the M77. Great guns!

Those VZs are fun guns. They are more accurate than alot of AKs too. What a great trunk gun.

I've had several of the v39s. Awesome shooters with little recoil. Very accurate. I never converted mine because I felt the SGM 30s were excellent mags.

I was going to get one of the M77's when they were selling for less than $600 (I think they were). I did not want to rework the M14 mags though, at the time. I'm still wanting something in .308.

Yah. The M14 mag conversion is a waste of time and money. Hours and hours for unreliable garbage. It's funny how guys posted doing the " successful conversion " but never posted vids of them functioning properly. Lol. The M77 is a blast as is the V308. Both of those were more accurate than a DPMS 308 I had. The M77 and Vepr will cycle everything. The DPMS was not only finicky but inaccurate too. I can't believe I traded a V54r for the DPMS Oricle. I traded the DPMS away for a Wasr 10. It can out shoot that DPMS too. Lol.You might be able to find an M77 on Gunbroker.
