UPDATE: Capitol Police have given the all clear after locking down the Capitol complex following a report of a man with a gun. The individual in question was reportedly an undercover officer with a valid carry permit who was approaching the Capitol, POLITICO's Lisa Lerer reports.

I'm not seeing a problem with that. I think they should lock it down for all of next year. They keep up their crap down there and they might get a chance to see a whole lot more that one person coming with a gun.

There's so much conflicting information in this story it's hard to make out what's going on. Passenger or driver with a gun, machine gun? On or off the bus? And what bus gets to drive into the Capitol Building? Why would it be on lock down? And who, of any importance is in DC right now? Why would a terrorist decide to shoot up the town when everyone that deserves to be tried for treason is away for the month?

Guess that's what happens in a city that has long decided that only the politicians are worthy of protection and the rest of the citizens of this country can go to hell, while in the Nations Capitol.

Can we pay him to make random OC appearances and shut the place down for the next 3 years?
