Gun Insurance Question
Hey guys, I'm a young guy (21 going on 22) and after college I'll probably move back in with my mom. She is just concerned about me having guns possibly affecting her home owner's insurance. She lives in New Jersey...so the laws may be different than PA but if you guys have any information on the subject I'd appreciate it.
Thanks

Re: Gun Insurance Question
Young man,
You can live in my house here in PA. Anything so you don't have to move back to a state like NJ.
The only way to know if a firearm would affect her homeowners policy would be to read it.
Pssst, she's a woman and ummm, is politely telling you she don't want guns in her house!!!

Re: Gun Insurance Question
I believe in NJ the guns are allowed but the gun owner is forbidden from being in the same state at their weapons. I guess the only solution would be to move out of NJ!

Re: Gun Insurance Question
better to live in your car (and if you dont have one a shoe box will do) than to live in N.J. if you are a gun owner.
just saying.

Re: Gun Insurance Question
Now, now. I'm sure there's plenty of gun owners in New Jersey. Of course, they're only permitted to look at them, from afar, on odd-numbered Thursdays in odd-numbered months, but they appear to be happy with that.
If they weren't happy, I'm sure they'd elect people willing to change repressive civil rights laws.
