Re: tumbler question
Yes. no problem there,But you'll need to clean the primer pocket out after you deprime ,Some do some dont its a personal choice.

Re: tumbler question
As the others said, you can leave the old primers in. Taking them out only leads to headaches.
In almost 30 years of reloading, I have never worried about cleaning the primers pockets in any of my handgun ammo, and I've never had a problem.
The only primer pockets I routinely clean are my hunting rifle (.30/06) and hunting handgun (.44mag) ammo.

Re: tumbler question
I always tumble after resizing and decapping to remove all traces of case lube.

Re: tumbler question
I reload 223 and all the brass end's up on the ground after firing. I tumble every case twice. First time to remove any grit (with primer in), before decapping and resizing. Second time to remove case lube (10 minutes). I don't care if the case is shiny, as long as it's clean.
Toujours prêt

Re: tumbler question
Depends on what you have with it. Do you know someone who reloads now? Probably be best to talk with them about it.[/QUOTE]
I did know someone that reloads but i haven't talked to them for awhile
