I OC all over the LV, never had the cops called on me.(that I am aware of anyway) I have had some encounters nothing that would deter me from OCing any less and I OC 90% of the time.

    My advice:

    1) Read this thread http://forum.pafoa.org/open-carry-14...re-you-do.html
    2) Print some flyers.
    3) Make sure you have a retention holster
    4) OC, if you are not comfortable with OC try to link up with some other members who OC on a regular basis. I have met up with a few members to help them get their feet wet.

There is a show this weekend in Allentown.

I don't know what you carry but they had some holsters at the last one. If you can't find what you want there try Army Navy in Whitehall or Cabellas.

The only difficulty with OCing this time of year is the weather!

Otherwise, you'll find that 99.9% of the time people won't even notice you carrying it.

if you want a good retention holster for the Sigma, a Blackhawk SERPA for the Glock 21 will fit it perfectly, and they go for less than $40, usually.

Anyone who carries OC or CC should have some retention training to go along with situational awareness.

To the OP...there have been a few before you OCing in the LV. Be prepared but I doubt you'll have any major problems.

I've been doing it in LV, particularly Northampton County, since April. I don't think you'll have a problem. I even OC in two branches of my bank on a weekly basis.

Since it is winter I usually have it covered with a coat now, but I don't take any effort to keep it concealed.
