Martini recipes
Anyone got some good ones? We will be wrapping the kids presents and having a "cup of cheer" tomorrow after the little ones go to bed.
I am making dirty martinis and pomegranate martinis tonight to "test" my recipes.
I like gin in mine. Doing a little experimenting tonight. Share your recipes if you've got em!
I tried this one and I love it.
1/2 oz of Orange liquor(Cointreau)
1 oz of vodka
3 oz of pomegranate juice

Re: Martini recipes
I'm a pretty basic guy........glass full of good Polish vodka, and a toothpick with as many blue cheese stuffed olives as I can fit.
"Guess what?! I got a fever, and the only prescription... is more cowbell!"

Re: Martini recipes
I'm not a martini drinker, but I work with 1.
He says, Put some Grey Goose on a glass of ice, wave a bottle of vermouth over it, pour, enjoy.
Just sayin......
I prefer No. 7 myself, or Beer.
A good single malt gets my attention, sometimes.

Re: Martini recipes
Ditto. I have never really trusted a clear liquor. My go to liquor is Crown Reserve. But, I'll swig Jack if I'm lookin for a fight... lol
I used to make a lot of martinis. I was on a kick for awhile. I liked to use Goose and the traditional Martini & Rossi vermouth. FrIz is a good substitute if you like a little more taste than Grey Goose - or hate the French and prefer the Finnish.
Sometimes dirty to taste, sometimes just show the shaker the vermouth and let it be.
Try getting clementine orange peels and starfruit. Take the orange peels and smash them up with a slice of starfruit. Add a "gloop" of that to martinis that are made sans-olives. For the onion and olive decorated glass, don't fruit it.F*S=k
