We hold meetings on the third Thursday of every month. Meetings are at 8 pm. I recommend you get there around 7:30, unless you like to stand against a wall while being bored out of your mind. My apologies, the meetings are not exciting, and we have very little in the way of special effects to enhance them. One of the speakers nearly every month is local rep Paul Clymer. His info IS interesting, and he usually offers something interesting from Harrisburg.

Meetings generally last an hour to an hour and a half. We have drawings at every meeting to win small prizes. Tickets for the drawings cost $1 each, and you can buy as many as you like. After the meeting, free refreshments are served. Refreshments are usually sandwhiches, hotdogs, sloppy joes, that sort. Soda and beer (also free) are served. You will not get beer before the meeting to make the meeting more enjoyable.

We frequently hold three or four work days a year. This year, we will be making the berms higher, and strengthening them. We will also be clearing brush, picking up brass, and other general maintenance. We also have a childrens' fishing contest every year (non-member children are permitted) with prizes and food. Additionally, we hold several meat shoots each year. We are having one in January, but right now I don't remember the date. No, we don't have a website to look it up on. That is something I'd like to change.

Fees are, as I mentioned, $15 to join, and $10 a year after. To get the money to me, you can either pay me PRIOR to January 21, or you can show up at the February meeting and pay it on your own. I would rather just cut a single check and pay for everybody at once. My address will be IMed to everybody who IMs me. If, for some reason I do not foresee, ANY of you are rejected for membership, I will give you back the $15. I doubt that will happen, but there is always a buzz about capping membership. That is NOT something I support or expect to see happen. I doubt there will be any such occurence prior to the February.

Again, thanks to all who're showing interest, and have a great New Year!

    Chris
    Thanks for the info Chris.
If we get the money to you prior to Jan 21 would we expect to attend the Jan meeting or plan on waiting until February's?

You already have my info, PM me your address and I'll get you a check sent up right away. I just checked my calender and while I was hoping to make it to January's meeting it looks like it is the Thursday after I head back to school...figures.

    Thanks again Chris!
