Help PAFOA Build a Comprehensive Pennsylvania Gun Law FAQ

One of the most amazing things to come out of the PAFOA Discussion Forum is the quality of the collective knowledge of Pennsylvania's gun laws that is contained within the group and individually. I am quite certain that PAFOA members as a whole (and some of them individually) probably know more about the intricacies of the laws related to buying, possessing, transporting and discharging guns in Pennsylvania than the people who wrote them.

But! We have one problem: It's not very well organized, with answers buried in various forums and threads. This unfortunately leads to a lot of people asking and answering the same questions over and over again both on the Discussion Forum and through the organization's contact form.

But! There is a solution: A while back I started building out the "Law" section of the main PAFOA website and on the landing page I started building a "Frequently Asked Questions" section to the page.

But! We have a problem: I didn't do a very good job, and honestly, it's pitiful.

But! There is a solution: All of us, working together are going to think of every common question related to Pennsylvania gun laws in this thread and build a master list of them. Once that's done, I'm going to take it all and put it in an easy-to-read, easy-to-link-to format on the main website. Hopefully once this is done we can cut down on the common questions and when they do come up we can simply link people to the already prepared answers.

This process is going to happen in a few phases:

Phase 1: Compile a list of questions
Phase 2: Answer the list of questions to the best of our ability, with citations & references.
Phase 3: Have our lawyer review the questions & answers for accuracy.
Phase 4: Post the FAQ to the main website.

This is Phase 1

Guidelines for this Thread

Each post should be only a question that you believe should be answered in the FAQ. Try to think of questions you had when you first started getting involved in firearms or ones that you see commonly asked on the forum. For example:

What states honor my Pennsylvania License To Carry Firearms?

Where can I not carry a firearm in Pennsylvania?
