WanderingFool had warned me to have double hearing protection for the 500. Fortunately, I did have some inner plugs I kept in all the time when not using the external headphones. It was cold and I did appreciate the coat hood when I could.

Reconldr, I really appreciate you helping me to sight in my DPMS. At least now it is on the paper and I can begin to focus on the shooters skills and not the rifle. Can you PM me your personal email address?

Shadowcat offered over his Moisen bolt action for a nice shoot. I was leaning into the second shot when the trigger didn't reset? All the folks in the gallery behind me laughed and reminded me it was bolt action.

Several folks did get a chance to shoot the Beowulf and appeared to enjoy it. I am terrible at names. Besides Reconldr and Max384, who else got to try it? I think Brian did but there were a number of other nice guys who I cannot remember your names.

that would have made a great video.....thats what happens when you shoot semi's all day and then switch to a bolt action.....lol

unfortunetly i didnt get a chance to shoot the beowulf. looked like a really nice gun. was just a little preoccupied with the chicken fried bacon
