Learn the True Honor of Arlington

National Geographic did a great episode on Arlington.... I was there once, had a tour guide. It was powerful... But the guide pushed us along to visit other sites in DC. So I never got to just walk around and enjoy it...

That was great. Thanks for posting this. Interesting note on Arlington. It was a war prize after the Civil War. It originally was Robert E. Lee's plantation.

I will have to watch that later tonight. I have been to Arlington several times and it always ends up getting crap in my eyes and I end up swallowing bugs or something cause I have this damn lump in my throat. It is a haunting place.

It's weird, but my sister is buried there. In order for her to have been buried my Dad had to get a plot and have a headstone erected. I had a picture of my dad sitting on his own headstone. It has his name, DOB, and a dash.
