How long did you have to wait for your Chesco LTCF?
Just curious, how long did you have to wait for your Chesco LTCF once you handed in the application? Anyone have any trouble with Chesco?

Re: How long did you have to wait for your Chesco LTCF?
When I first applied, my LTCF did not arrive in six weeks. When I called the office to inquire when I could expect it the Deputy said it was mailed out three weeks earlier. They "had a second copy" ready and mailed it to me within a week of my calling. This was back in 2001.
My neighbor got his last year and it took about two-three weeks.
The Sherriffs office in Chester County are some nice folks.

I applied back in March and had it in about 3 weeks. The deputy who took the application was very helpful. The sheriff here is pro-2A -- and she's even NFA-friendly.

Re: How long did you have to wait for your Chesco LTCF?
Yes, but they never contacted them.
I waited a year after I moved to apply. I moved from So Cal so my references were not valid and my family is in NEPA but they were family. I waited a year to get to know my neighbors then select three I could trust.
Some I just don't want knowing I own or carry a firearm.

Re: How long did you have to wait for your Chesco LTCF?
I got mine in about 3 weeks and they did not contact any references. I'm trying to get my wife to apply now. They do contact your local PD to check you out- and my PD offered a free class on laws/ carry/ situations given by our police cheif. We had about 18 new CCW peeps that night! It was very informative!

3 weeks and a day or so. Non Citizen application with zero hassles and no contacting references.
Chesco references are preferred but I think any PA address will work. Take a money order for 46$.

11 days which included the holidays. I am an MP, not sure if that helped.
