    Default I need to attach a light to a non-railed pistol

    Has anyone tried these? http://cgi.ebay.com/CAA-1911-PISTOL-...item35a5c070b8 Im looking for a solid way to attach a tlr-2 to a 1911 or possibly a Beretta 92.

    Looks like a "maybe it would work". Something like that I would preferr to see one in a shop. Get a better Idea if it was worth it.

    but seriously looks interesting something i might consider if i wanted a light on my pistol

    I think I would go with one of these before attaching a secondary rail like that to my gun, but that is just personal opinion. Maybe it works just fine and doesn’t have any unforeseen drawbacks.

    I use the same rail system on my 92 and it is rock solid. Made of aircraft aluminum. Definately worth the money, and by the way. that is where I bought mine and the guy ships quick and has quality items. I would recommend.

    I was thinking about getting one of these. In my research I found that many people complained that after firing a few shots the light would be pointing down at the ground. If you do get it let me know how it works.

    I learned to hold a surefire in my hand and grip the gun at the same time. I like that technique because you arent dependant on having a weapon mounted light all the time.
