Phila. City Employees Charged with Operating On-The-Job Theft Ring
http://www.kyw1060.com/City-Employee...-Theft/5909189
Nine current and former City of Philadelphia employees have been charged with a series of home invasions and thefts in the Northeast.
District attorney Lynne Abraham (right) say that a city crew that was supposed to do "clean and sweeps" in homes was involved in a scheme to do "clean and steals" instead.
The audio version of this says seven firearms were recovered and that these dirtbags might have lifted as many as 25.

You mean that you are STILL helping pay their salaries?

Mayor Michael Nutter's spokesman says the city is currently investigating those who were in charge and further charges may be coming. In the meantime, five of those charged remain on the city payroll until administrative hearings can be held. The 2A does not GIVE us the right. It tells the gov they can not INFRINGE our right.

Yeah, that';s what I meant. This must be what that extra 1% sales tax is for - keeping criminals and thieves on the city payroll...

I just read about this in our local paper, the Northeast Times. What a fucking disgrace. I never did agree with CLIP, they had powers far beyond those any governmental agency at that level should have.
I can't wait to get out of this shitty city!!!Last edited by joelad; December 24th, 2009 at 04:39 PM. Reason: typo
