...in front of the Kmart in Moosic today.

this morning, i looked in the mirror, and noticed my hair was out of control. i don't remember the last time i cut it, actually. i would just shave it, but with winter practically here, i thought better of it. there's an Empire Beauty school here, and since i needed to go to Kmart today anyway, i figured a $5 haircut was in order. besides, that place is full of hot women who will lean their breasts over you, sometimes resting them on your shoulders! best of all, they have no problem with open carry. i'm there, dude.

with my hair cut, and my shoulder smelling of perfumed boobies, i walked down to the Kmart. got X-mas presents, some deodorant, and underwear. on my way out, i got about $2 in change ready, to throw into the Red Cross bucket. i threw it in, and the guy ringing the bell gave me the "happy holiday", then his eyes buggered out of his head, and he said, "what the hell is that?"

"it's a gun."

"why do you have that thing?"

"self defense, mostly."

"that's not safe."

"it's safe for me."

"that thing can kill someone! is that what you want?"

i paused, and thought about it.

"what i want is to be able to donate money to the Red Cross, to help out people who need it. it's not easy, considering i'm unemployed myself. i'm not even gonna get into the gallons of blood i've given away. now i wish i hadn't. merry christmas."

i walked away, pissed off. at him, at Kmart, at my stylist and her sweet smelling breast, and at myself. i wanted to engage him further, but i'd just put $2 in a bucket, money i could have used to buy food, or gas, or some other necessity, and i felt like this guy just shit all over it.
